Data and privacy are very important at Percolated Design and Percolated Photography. We want you to know exactly how we collect and use your data so that you know exactly where you stand.

In Brief

We will securely store all information that you’ve given us about you, your website, hosting and associated accounts. We use this information to set up requested services, provide technical support to you when requested and carry out any photo or video assignments. If you would like a copy of the information we keep on your company or you would like us to delete all or part of it we are happy to comply. Please contact us using the details below and we can arrange this for you.

We will send you emails or call you when we need to contact you about any services you have with us or when we need to send you important information. If you would like us not to contact you by phone or email please let us know and we will respect your wishes.

We will never share any information you have given us unless you have specifically asked us to set up accounts or services with third parties on your behalf.

What types of data we collect and how we use it?

Cookies

When someone visits www.percolated.photography we use cookies to collect data for website analytics. We use Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Contact Forms

We have a contact form that appears on most of our website pages. If you complete this form we will only use your data to reply to your enquiry. These details are only stored long enough to allow us to reply to your enquiry and then they are deleted. If we have an email conversation with you as a result of your enquiry then we will add your email address to our email address book in order to continue to communicate with you. We will not add your details to a mailing list or share them with any third parties.

Mailing List

As part of the registration process for our mailing list, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing us.

Other Information & Data

When we work together to build you a website, design brochures, adverts, labels, newsletters and produce imagery, we may need information from you in order to complete this work. This data will not be collected via our website. We will discuss in person what information we need and exactly how we will use it at the time. We will also answer any questions you may have about how this data will be used and stored. We will only use your information to complete work that you have agreed to in advance and we will always keep you informed. An example of this might be setting up a Mailchimp account for you and linking it to your website so that you can build a mailing list and send out newsletters to your customers. Another example might be transferring a domain name or setting up a new hosting account, to do this we might need your login details for your domain or hosting provider. We will always keep your data safe and we will only ever use it as instructed by you.
